WELCOME

I'm going to share my life as an alcoholic. I'm hoping I can help someone out there whose suffering, and not feel alone.

Eveyone has problems. Some people just don't talk about it.

Hey everyone !'ve got to share something exciting—I’m diving into the blogosphere for the very first time! That’s right, I’m breaking all my rules and opening up my life story to the world. It might sound a bit crazy, but I feel compelled to connect with others who have faced the same struggles I have, especially my journey with alcoholism. For years, I found every excuse to drink, blaming everything from my job to my relationships. But guess what? I’ve come to realize just how much pain I caused those I loved. It took me a long time to acknowledge that I was numbing my feelings, thinking I was only hurting myself. If any of this resonates with you, just know that it’s okay! Remember, it’s a disease, and we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves—we need to take responsibility, but we also need compassion.
I started drinking heavy in my early twenties, thinking I was just having fun. It wasn’t until much later that I saw the truth—it’s a disease, and it can hit anyone, no matter their age. I’ve heard the phrase “if you love me, you would stop” so many times, and it’s not that simple. But here’s the good news: it’s all about baby steps, one day at a time. I’m excited to share more of my journey in future posts, and I hope this intro inspires anyone who’s struggling to know they’re not alone. I’ll always share resources for those seeking help because I had an amazing experience at a top-rated rehab. Remember to be kind to others; you never know what they’re facing! ✈️
